Hey 👋🏾

I'm Marly — Brooklyn-born, Amsterdam-based, and about ten years deep into building content experiences that actually work at scale.

My career has moved through non-profits, travel, fintech, and health tech, but the thread running through all of it is the same: I'm drawn to complex problems where content design intersects with systems thinking, organizational change, and now, AI. At Flo I define how an LLM speaks to 75 million people about their health. Before that, I was building the content frameworks and craft infrastructure that helped Booking.com's writing community scale to 60+.

FemTech and generative AI aren't just professional interests — they sit at the exact intersection of my feminist point of view and my lifelong sci-fi nerdom. Turns out building the voice of a women's health AI is basically the job I would have written for myself.

How I work

I'm not an engineer. But I think like one when the work demands it. The branching logic, the predicate conditions, the few-shot rule structures — I find that kind of rigor genuinely interesting, not intimidating. The most satisfying part of this work wasn't the writing. It was designing systems that could hold complexity at scale, stay medically responsible, and still feel warm and human to the person on the other end.

If any of that resonates, I'd love to talk.
